SpendFlex is a privacy-first expense tracker built around one simple idea: financial awareness beats financial automation. Instead of connecting your bank, you manually record expenses, helping you become more conscious of your spending habits. Combined with powerful insights, budgets and forecasting, SpendFlex helps you understand your money without collecting your data.

This is a really refreshing take on expense tracking. Manual entry makes so much sense for building real awareness. One thing that would help me stick with it: a quick-add widget for the home screen, like a single tap to log a coffee or a ride. Friction is the enemy of a habit tracker and right now opening the app feels like a lot of steps for a small purchase.
@melisrtekimejb Thank you so much! That means a lot because the "awareness through manual tracking" philosophy is exactly what I wanted to build.
I completely agree that reducing friction is essential for building a lasting habit. A quick-add home screen widget is a fantastic suggestion, especially for those small everyday expenses like coffee or transport.
It's definitely something I'll be exploring. Thanks again for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback
Looks really clean, love the privacy angle. One thing i was wondering though, how does the forecasting actually work if everything is entered manually, does it just use your past entries to project forward or is there some kind of smarter logic in play?
How do the forecasting features work if everything is manual — do I need to log expenses on a schedule or does it pick up patterns from how I categorize stuff on my own time?
The privacy angle is refreshing, but manual entry can get tedious fast. Does it have any shortcuts like importing from Apple Wallet receipts or a quick widget for logging on the go?
