SpeedGrid is a beautifully organized new-tab workspace for people who think best when everything has a place. Build focused grids and folders, search the web or your saved sites, send pages into one or two destinations, add custom themes and photography, check compact live weather, and protect the setup with backups and restore points. It is fast, responsive, private by design, and built by a designer-photographer who wanted a better version of the page he sees all day.
Hey Product Hunt... I’m Joey.
I’ve spent most of my life making things look and feel right: about 10 years in graphic design, the next 15 in photography, plenty of web design along the way, and a bachelor’s degree in digital media somewhere in the middle of all that.
I also spend a lot of time at a computer, and I work best when the space in front of me feels calm, intentional, and organized. My physical desk has always been that way. My new-tab page never was.
For roughly a decade, I used the speed-dial tools that were available and kept wishing they felt more modern, more personal, and more thoughtfully finished. Advances in web technology finally made it possible for me to build the version I had always wanted. That became SpeedGrid.
It gives you focused grids and folders, quick search, save-for-later tools, dual destinations, responsive layouts, cloud sync, backups, restore points, and deep visual customization. I also included themes built from my own travel photography, with more on the way.
The simplest description is this: SpeedGrid is for people who think better when everything has a place.
I built it for myself first, fell in love with using it, and decided to share it. I’d genuinely love to hear what feels instantly useful, what feels confusing, and what you wish your current new-tab page did better.
Thanks for taking a look.
Joey
