Speechius listens to your voice and scrolls your script for you - speed up, slow down, go off-script, it keeps pace. No foot pedal, no fixed speed to chase. It works live in any tool - real webinars, Zoom, Meet, Teams, OBS - and stays hidden on screen-share. Fully on-device (private). One-time price, no subscription. macOS & Windows.

The re-anchor tap when you drift off-script is the right escape hatch. Quick day-one question: what's the fastest way to get existing scripts in — does it take .docx or Google Docs imports, or is it paste-only? And can you have more than one script loaded at the same time, like if a presentation jumps between two topics and you want to switch mid-session without reopening the app?
@leo404 Right now it's paste - the script is saved automatically, so it's there again the next time you open the app. One script at a time, so switching topics mid-session means pasting the other one in. Imports and holding several scripts at once are both on my list - which would you actually reach for, .docx or Google Docs?
Very interested, but the big follow-up question for me is: are mobile OS versions on the road map? A capable speech Pace desktop teleprompter is a wonderful thing, but being able to run that on Android or iOS would be the next Great leap Forward I suspect.
I only know of two products to support those platforms this way at all and both of them are heavy subscriptions.
@cozmicfisch Yes, mobile is very much on my mind. I just won't put a date on it, because I'd rather ship it late than announce it early. The app is built so that the same version can run on phones without starting over, so the screen you see would carry across. What doesn't carry across are the parts that talk directly to the operating system, mainly the speech recognition and how the window behaves. Each platform is its own small project there, and I'd rather do that properly than quickly. And whenever it happens, it stays a one time purchase. Your last line is a good argument for moving it up the list.

What tech are you using for language recognition? It can't be to hard to get it to work on more languages? I'm recording mostly in Norwegian, but I see there was no support on this right now :(
@skavhellen Recognition runs on your machine - Apple's speech recognition on macOS, Vosk on
Windows. German and English are in there because those are the two languages I speak well enough to test properly myself, and I'd rather not ship a language whose quality I can't actually judge. I'm working on a way to run a language through the app from an audio file instead of a live mic, so I can benchmark it without speaking it myself. Which OS are you recording on?

@syntacops I'm using Mac, latest version on a Mac Mini 4. Would love to help out testing it in Norwegian if needed.
@ganesh_ravikumar Thanks Ganesh, that's exactly the case it was built for. Skipping a word or two doesn't throw it off, it just keeps following you. And for live sessions there's a mode that keeps the window out of screen recordings and screen shares, so your audience never sees it. What kind of sessions are you planning?
Since releasing Speechius, I’ve been getting feedback from customers and people considering it for their own recordings and presentations.
That feedback has directly shaped this update.
Speechius 1.0.11 introduces projects, so you can keep related scripts together, switch between them, and have your changes saved automatically. You can also export a whole project to continue on another computer, or import and export individual scripts.
There’s also a small addition I find useful: hold Shift while scrolling to move through your text word by word.
Building the first release was one part of the work. Hearing how people want to use Speechius is helping me figure out what to build next.
Thanks to everyone who tried it, asked questions, or shared what was missing for them.
Here’s a quick look at the update (https://youtu.be/CBDe_sayR_Y). The video takes less than a minute.

Speechius 1.0.9 is here 🎉
Text scaling: You can now scale the speaker text from 50% to 200% directly from a compact popover - or use ⌘/Ctrl +, − and 0.
The word highlight, anchor line and reading position stay precisely aligned as the text reflows, even while resizing the window or presenting.
Better invisibility: We also refined Undetectable Mode: resize cursors no longer reveal the hidden Speechius window in a screen share. Local yellow edge and corner cues still make it easy for the presenter to resize the window - but remain invisible to the audience.
Available now for macOS and Windows.
14-day free trial, followed by a one-time purchase - no subscription.

I’d love to hear how the new text sizing works in your setup!
the "machine follows u instead of u following the machine" line is honestly the whole product. feels obvious once u hear it.
@ishm6m Thanks 🙏 That's the sentence I kept coming back to while building it. Funny thing is it only feels obvious afterwards - making the script actually keep up with how people really talk took most of the work.
