What do you think? …

Abhishek Dutta
Hey everyone! 👋 We’re back on Product Hunt — this time with our mobile app 🚀 Some of you might remember our earlier launch — we made it to #3 Product of the Day with our web app. The love and feedback from that launch gave us the push to build an even better experience on mobile. Today, we’re super excited to finally share it with you. Here’s what’s new (and 🔥): ✅ Dark Mode – Because your thoughts don’t stop when the sun goes down. ✅ Format on the Go – Quickly test and apply different note formats without breaking your flow. No setup. Just speak. ✅ Offline Mode – Record when you’re offline. We’ll process the note once you're back online. Ideal for flights, remote areas, or low-signal zones. ✅ Share from Any App – Got a WhatsApp voice note or an audio file in your internal app? Just share it with Speech to Note and boom — it's a note. ✅ Multilingual UI – Use the app in 10+ languages. More on the way. ✅ Priority Support – We’ve revamped our support pipeline and are now responding faster and better than ever. Whether you’re a creator, a consultant, a student, or just someone who thinks out loud — we built this for you. We’d love to hear what you think. Drop your feedback, suggestions, or a hi 👋 And if you try it out, don’t forget to upvote — it means the world to a small indie team like ours ❤️ – Abhishek & Team Speech to Note

@abhishek_ux Congrats on the launch! 5.0 rating is awesome. Quick question: can I use the app to record ideas offline on mobile, and then have them transcribed and summarized later when I’m back online?

Abhishek Dutta

@anastasiiazhur yes you can do this with the mobile app. It will create a note (will stay on top of the list with a temporary name) with a retry symbol so whenever you are back online, you can just open the app again and tap on that re-try icon, and it should start transcribing and summarizing the note.

💡 Bright idea

@abhishek_ux I tried using your product. I liked it. In Ukrainian, when forming the text, there are some minor errors in the endings of words. But, in general, it is not a big problem if I can correct it manually. I will try to use your product this week and if I like it, then continue. I often think out loud. It is great that now I can immediately get my ideas in text.

Abhishek Dutta

@anastasiiazhur We are working to fix this with further fine tuning. As of now it's a bit manual process. You can try choosing "Simple Clear" Format. And see if the output is better.

But this has been one of the feedback that customers have given to us already and we have plans to work on it further.

Olga Scry

@abhishek_ux best of luck today :) what limits does free version have?

Abhishek Dutta

@olga_scry It's very limited to be honest. Every month you can record upto 20 mins max. And 1 minute per note. You can only summarise in one format per note.

Whereas once you go Pro -

  • You can add more transcripts later to the same note (Forgot about speaking something during first time, add more to the same note later)

  • You can add more formats in the same note (LinkedIn Post, X Thread, Email etc.)

  • Gives you access to multiple formats - From GPT 5 to Claude 4 Sonnet to Meta 4 for Summarisation.

But yeah free is good for starters.

Jitendra Gahalaod

Huge congrats to the team on the launch! 🎉 Excited to see how this grows and the impact it will have...

Abhishek Dutta

@jitendra_gahalaod Thanks Jitendra. Means a lot

Uday Sharma

All the best to the team Speech to Note. Keep Rocking!!!

Abhishek Dutta

@udaysharma Thanks buddy. We indeed will keep moving ahead. Slowly and gradually, but we will keep moving for sure. Thanks for showing us the support for today.

Nicole Astor

Wow, this is so handy! As a content creator, I've always needed a tool that turns voice into structured note, this perfectly solves my "capture ideas anytime, anywhere" problem! @Speech to Note

Abhishek Dutta

@nicoleastor Thanks for sharing your thoughts Nicole. Do give it a try.

Neel Patel 🦕

Great going! I've seen this product evolve and the mobile version is definitely bringing a lot more. Congrats on the launch @abhishek_ux

Abhishek Dutta

@neelptl2602 Thanks so much Neel. Means a lot brother. We do have an active free plan as well which lets you use the product even after trial is expired. The post trial usage will be live on mobile app in a couple of weeks but it's already in plans.

Neel Patel 🦕

@abhishek_ux That's amazing! I've been talking with someone doing this with a device. Space is definitely juicy!

Talshyn Nova

Congrats on the mobile launch 🤩 Curious if you plan to integrate directly with tools like Notion, Obsidian, or Slack, I think being part of someone’s existing workflow could be huge for retention and virality 👀

Abhishek Dutta

@talshyn Definitely something to think off in future. We do have Webhooks for now which allows to push data from Speech to Note to your desired places using Zapier but yes it's not fully automated.

We can think of this use case in future for sure.

Paul Selibio

Speech-to-note is one of the best tools I've been using today. It's easy. It's easier to say things than to type them.

It's a truly powerful tool, and it's more than just a time and money saver. It's a lifesaver for me, especially since I was previously close to suffering from many repetitive stress injuries caused by using my mouse. This tool has definitely improved my workflow and process, and for the better.

Abhishek Dutta

@paul_selibio Thanks so much paul. This means a lot. I am glad that we could make a difference and we will keep doing the same by making this product more accessible in fun and meaningful ways in future.

Thanks for the support.
