Sosi is a browser extension that help you save image and video from supported Threads pages and capture visible Threads posts as image files. It features a simple popup interface and requires no account or password. Sosi is designed for personal reference and documentation. It is independent and not affiliated with Threads, Instagram, or Meta. Users are responsible for complying with applicable copyright and platform term.
Does it grab carousel posts as separate images or only as a single combined screenshot?
@abdulsamettspo At the moment, carousel capture is exported as a single clean combined screenshot. Support for exporting each slide separately is something I'm considering, thanks for your advise.
Saved a few Reel clips and screenshots with it, the popup is straightforward and no login needed which i appreciate. The capture quality holds up surprisingly well for personal reference.

🎉 Small update
I've just expanded Sosi beyond Chrome, and it's now available on Firefox as well. My goal is to keep the experience consistent across browser while staying lightweight, no account, and privacy friendly.
If you try Firefox version, I'd love to hear how it work for you or what you'd like to see next.
Love how the popup stays minimal and account-free, that kind of restraint in a save-and-capture tool is rare and makes the whole thing feel genuinely useful rather than bloated.
