SociaTrip combines travel planning with local social activities in one platform. Instead of focusing only on finding travel companions, users can discover nearby activities, meet people, share experiences, and plan trips together. Its map-based experience connects spontaneous local interactions with longer-term travel planning.

honestly this looks solid, combining local stuff with trip planning is smart. one thing i'd love is a way to filter activities by language spoken or group size, since meeting up with randoms can be awkward if there's a big language gap. that would make it way easier to actually follow through on plans
@gomuk10419 Thanks a lot! 🙌 That's a really good point. We're already working on making activity discovery more personalized, including filters like spoken language and group size.
You'll be seeing these improvements soon!
Appreciate the feedback!
One thing I'd love to see is some kind of verification system, like a quick selfie check or mutual friend connection, so I feel safer meeting up with strangers for activities. Right now it's a bit hard to tell who's genuinely there for the experiences versus, you know, people with other intentions. Adding that layer would honestly make me way more comfortable committing to spontaneous plans on the platform.
@taha188100 Absolutely — this is something we care a lot about.
Meeting new people should feel exciting, not uncertain. We’re working on new trust and safety features to help people feel more confident about who they’re meeting and the activities they’re joining.
It’s definitely an area we want to keep improving as Sociatrip grows!
Thank your for your feedback!
Map view is super clean and pinning local activities right alongside trip planning feels natural. Made it easy to find a hiking group near my next stop without scrolling through endless chat threads.
@glerh561 Thanks so much!
That’s exactly the experience we’re aiming for — making it easy to discover things happening nearby while also connecting them to your travel plans.
Finding a hiking group near your next stop is a perfect example of how we want Sociatrip to bring local activities and trip planning together in one place.
Really glad it made the experience easier!
Finally an app that gets me out of my head and into the city - discovering the pottery class two blocks away beat another generic tour. The map layout feels clean and the local crowd is actually friendly, not just tourists.
@enolacunkgli This is exactly the kind of experience we’re trying to create!
Getting people to discover what’s happening around them and actually get out there is at the heart of Sociatrip.
And finding a pottery class just two blocks away is a perfect example of why we wanted to put local activities and people at the center of the experience.
So glad you enjoyed it!
love how the map is basically the whole homepage instead of buried behind a tab, makes everything feel way more immediate and kind of inviting
@furkan5sdk Thank you! That’s exactly what we were going for. We wanted the map to feel like the starting point of the experience — something you can open and immediately see what’s happening around you, rather than having to search through menus or tabs.
Really glad it comes across as more immediate and inviting! 🚀
