Our History: Initially, planning to launch our credit card, we realized our customers struggled to manage existing cards, mirroring my experience with 8 cards across various banking apps. Most Americans lacked autopay, and even those with it found autopayment unrewarding. Hence, we set out to create a product that offers a unified view of all credit cards and enables users to make one-click payments or set up auto-payments across multiple cards. Furthermore, we decided to enhance the bill payment experience by introducing Pay Points, which can be exchanged with our U.S. retail partners each time a user pays their card bill on Snowfoll. Security priority: When it comes to credit cards, security and data privacy are paramount concerns. We engaged with compliance leaders to present our product. - Initially, they rejected the idea. However, we clarified that, unlike Mint, we use phone numbers to provide a comprehensive view of their cards, instead of card numbers or card login credentials. This put their minds at ease. - They inquired about sharing user data with retailers for a rewards program, but we do not share. - We also collaborate with Plaid, a highly secure open banking platform, so that users can use their existing bank accounts to pay the bill, without having to switch.
