What inspired me to build this? Honestly, video editing wasn't something I was naturally skilled at, and doing it manually took forever. I'd spend hours figuring out cuts, finding the right B-roll, adding music, just to get one video ready. On top of that, I had to hunt down separate tools for each step. I wanted something that could do most of the heavy lifting for me, automatically. What problem does it solve? Most people who aren't professional editors face the same struggle, manual editing is slow and overwhelming, and juggling 4-5 different tools (one for clips, one for B-roll, one for music) makes it worse. Sniplyx AI solves this by being a full AI video editing suite, it transcribes, detects viral clips, generates B-roll, and adds AI music & SFX, all in one place, in the browser. How did the approach evolve? It started as a simple clipping tool called Pitchclip. But as I used it myself and realized clipping alone still left me with a lot of manual work, I rebuilt it into a complete AI editor. The focus shifted to making it genuinely effortless for someone like me, who isn't a skilled editor, to go from raw footage to a finished video without touching multiple tools or learning complex editing skills.
