Paste an eBay listing, set your target price, and get an email when it drops. Every listing gets a price-history chart, so you can tell a real deal from a fake sale. Uses eBay's official API; free during launch.

Hi Product Hunt! I built Snagly because eBay "sale" prices kept fooling me. A listing says "57% off", but the "was" price it's measured against often lasted only a few hours. Snagly shows where one listing's price has actually been, so you can tell a real drop from a markup.
You can try it without an account: paste any eBay listing URL on the homepage and it fetches the live price right there. Sign up only if you want it to keep watching and email you.
How it works:
Paste an eBay listing and set a target price
It checks the price every 4 hours through eBay's official API
You get one email when it hits your target, not one on every check
Every tracked listing builds its own price-history chart, and a drop is measured against the listing's usual price, not its highest one
If the listing sells or ends, you get an email with a few other listings of the same item you can track instead
It's ebay.com (US) listings only for now, and it only shows each listing's own history. eBay's API license rules out cross-store comparisons, so there are no "cheapest anywhere" claims here.
Free during launch (up to 25 listings; 3 stay free after). Disclosure: the "View on eBay" links carry my eBay Partner Network affiliate tag.
I'd love feedback, especially from people who buy or resell on eBay: what would make you trust a price history?
