One thing that would make SmartBay a no-brainer for me is automatic rent reminder emails to tenants a few days before the due date. Right now tracking tenants is great, but chasing late payments still eats up time, and a simple automated nudge would close that loop really nicely.
the PDF receipt generator is a really thoughtful touch, honestly a lot of landlords still send hand typed receipts so that alone sets you apart. the lease expiration alerts seem like exactly the kind of thing that prevents those awkward month to month lapses too. nice work on this
honestly the lease expiration alerts are a lifesaver, but it would be really helpful if you could add automatic rent reminders to tenants by email or text. that way i dont have to chase people down every month and it keeps the payment process way smoother for everyone involved
