Slapss takes over your whole Mac screen the moment a meeting starts, so you never miss it. One tap to join Zoom, Teams, Meet, or Webex. Reads Apple Calendar and Microsoft 365. Free forever, no tracking, and your calendar never leaves your Mac.
New setting to only show the full-screen alert for meetings you've accepted (Settings > Alert). Tentative and declined meetings still appear in the agenda but won't trigger the overlay. Off by default.
Alerts for meetings whose start was missed by more than 10 minutes (for example while your Mac was asleep overnight) no longer pile up when you reopen the lid. Also you can visit https://www.slapss-app.com/chang... for more info.

I built Slapss because I kept missing meetings. Not because I forgot them, but because a small banner in the corner is the easiest thing in the world to ignore when you are deep in something or looking at a second screen.
So Slapss does the opposite of a polite notification. When a meeting starts it takes over the entire screen, on every display, with the one thing you need: the meeting and a button to join. Press Escape and you are back to work.
A few things that matter to me:
It is free, with no subscription and no upsell. It stays that way.
There is no tracking, no analytics, no account. Your calendar is read locally and never leaves your Mac.
It is Mac only, on purpose. I would rather do one thing well than spread it thin.
It reads Apple Calendar (so iCloud, Google, and Outlook through Calendar.app) and connects to Microsoft 365 directly if you use Exchange. It also handles Reminders, and it is in six languages.
I am the only person behind it, so I will be around all day. Tell me what is missing or what annoys you and I will fix it.
