SkillBridge Global analyzes your resume against 2,300+ live job postings and tells you exactly which skills are costing you opportunities with a gap score, certification ROI rankings, and weekly job alerts. Available in 8 languages, built for job seekers in Africa, LATAM, SE Asia, Europe, and beyond.

How does the gap score actually account for context like years of experience or transferable skills, or is it purely keyword matching against the postings?
@enverdonatΒ Hey Enver!
Right now, the gap score is primarily skills-based: we extract skills from your resume using LLaMA AI, compare them against the required skills in live job postings via normalized matching, and score the overlap.
Years of experience and transferable skill inference are not currently factored in, meaning that a DevOps engineer with 8 years and Docker in their history will score similarly to someone who just listed it in a course.
You've identified the next meaningful upgrade, which will include:
Seniority weighting: detects experience signals from resume text (job titles, dates, context) to adjust the score. We will include Transferable skill mapping, e.g., recognizing that strong Ansible experience implies infrastructure-as-code competency even if Terraform isn't listed as role-level calibration scoring.
For now, please treat the gap score as a skills-coverage signal, not a hiring-probability score. It tells you what the market is asking for that your resume doesn't emphasize, which is still the most actionable starting point, even without seniority context.
Thanks for pushing on this, it's exactly the kind of feedback that shapes what gets built next. Would you be open to being an early tester when seniority weighting ships?
