Most uptime monitors just say "it's down." SiteSentry tells you why, checking DNS, SSL, and HTTP separately so you know if it's a cert issue, a DNS problem, or the server itself. Beyond basic pinging: incident history with uptime across multiple time windows, response-time charts, and weekly broken-link scanning most tools don't offer. Alerts via email, Slack, Discord, or webhook, with configurable thresholds so one blip doesn't spam you. Built solo, from scratch.
Hey everyone,
A few weeks ago I barely knew how to code, just a tutorial or two. I built SiteSentry from scratch as a way to actually learn by shipping something real, and it turned into a genuinely complete product: live billing, production auth, DNS/SSL diagnostics when something breaks, and multi-channel alerts (Slack/Discord/webhook), all built and debugged along the way.
If you run your own site or manage a few for clients, I'd love for you to try it and tell me what's missing - this is very much still evolving.
