Having worked on various home renovation projects, I've been frustrated by the digital tools available to create simple scale drawings. There are plenty of existing drawing tools out there, but none of them delivers on each of flexibility, ease of use, and price: - Many free drawing tools are too limited in their flexibility and precision - Most CAD tools are overwhelming for in their complexity - Some drawing tools deliver on flexibility and ease of use, but at a price point that's unreasonable for many casual users. Faced with the available choices, many people who need to create simple scale drawings end up falling on pen and paper drawings, depite the many obvious disadvantages. SimpleDraw aims to change the status quo, and offer an easy to use, flexible tool, at an affordable price. It is currently free, with no limits on usage, with a paid tier for cloud storage envisioned in the future.
