Simple Fasting Timer is a clean iPhone app for tracking 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, OMAD, and custom fasting windows. It works offline, requires no account, keeps history locally, and supports Live Activities, Dynamic Island, widgets, reminders, streaks, and themes. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Hi Product Hunt,
I built Simple Fasting Timer because I wanted a fasting app that behaves like a timer, not a coaching funnel.
The app is intentionally small:
- no account
- offline-first
- local fasting history
- Live Activity and Dynamic Island progress
- Home Screen widget
- one-time Pro unlock instead of a subscription
It is for people who already know the fasting window they want and just need a quiet way to track it.
I would love feedback on the positioning and what feels missing from a simple fasting timer.

Really like the no-account, offline-first approach. One thing I'd love to see is a quick export of your fasting history to CSV, so it's easier to review trends or share with a nutritionist. Would make the data feel less locked away on the device.

@agackesen72622 Thanks, that makes sense. Keeping history portable without adding an account fits the app well. CSV export is not there today, but it is a good feature idea.
the no-account offline setup is genuinely refreshing, and the live activity tracking right on the lock screen makes it easy to glance at without opening anything

@hkomurcu3158 Thanks, that was exactly the goal. I wanted the timer to stay glanceable on the Lock Screen without turning into another app you have to keep reopening.

I am trying to keep this app useful without turning it into a coaching machine. Which matters more to you in a fasting app: quieter reminders, better history, simpler start/stop flow, or better widgets and Live Activities?

@mirayugle Thanks, glad that balance comes through. I tried to keep it lightweight and make Live Activity useful without adding extra noise.

Offline-only fasting tracker with no account signup is exactly what I wanted, and the Dynamic Island countdown keeps it visible without opening the app.

@perihanxt4s Thanks, that combination was the core idea. I wanted something you can start using right away and keep visible without signup friction.
