SignoVoice is an accessibility-focused app exploring how AI and computer vision can help bridge communication between sign language users and hearing people. It is designed to make sign language communication more accessible through technology, with a focus on practical, everyday interactions. Weβre building SignoVoice to explore how modern AI can create more inclusive communication experiences.
Why I built SignoVoice π€?!
SignoVoice started with a simple question: why should communication depend on whether two people use the same language or communication method?
I wanted to explore how AI, computer vision, and mobile technology could help make communication between sign language users and hearing people easier.
Building SignoVoice has also shown me that accessibility isn't just about adding a feature to an existing product. It requires understanding the people who will actually use it, the environments they communicate in, and the challenges they face.
This is still an evolving project, and there is a lot I want to improve β especially around accuracy, real-world usability, and making the experience more natural.
I'd really value feedback from the Product Hunt community:
What would you want an app like SignoVoice to do that current accessibility tools don't?
I'm excited to learn from your ideas and continue building. π€
