Signal is a directory of AI tools, sorted by what they're actually for — coding, writing, image, video, research, and more — instead of by hype or launch buzz. Every tool shows a quick free/paid/freemium tag so you're not surprised by a paywall three clicks in. No logins, no ads, no clutter — just search, filter, and go. There's also a "Submit a tool" button if you know something that belongs on the list.
Hey everyone 👋
I kept running into the same problem: every time I needed an AI tool for something specific, I'd end up scrolling through 15 tabs of "Best AI Tools 2026" listicles that were 80% the same 5 tools with no real filtering.
So I built Signal — a simple, searchable directory of AI tools organized by what they're actually for (coding, writing, image, video, research, etc.), with a quick free/paid/freemium tag on each one so you're not surprised by a paywall three clicks in.
It's simple by design — no logins, no ads, just search, filter, and go. You can also submit a tool if you think something's missing.
Would love your feedback, and if you know a tool that should be on here, there's a 'Submit a tool' button at the top!
