One thing that would make this even more useful for me would be the ability to pin a comment or announcement to the top of the event page, like a "what to bring" note or last minute update, so it doesn't get lost in the chat.
@kaz_m73718 Hey Kazim, thanks for your comment. It does indeed have that built in. Shindig has a FAQs section and a Useful links section, to help the event members find the info they need for an event easily.

Love that no app download is needed, that's a lifesaver for getting everyone on board. One thing I'd really appreciate is a quick RSVP reminder the day before the event, maybe a simple email or text nudge, since polls and links are great but people still forget the date they picked.

Shindig provides email and push notifications. So if you set a date or choice poll and set an end date for the poll. Any users who hasn't responded will receive a reminder 24hrs before.
