👋 Hey Product Hunt community! I’m Hayk, founder at X-Soft Group, and we built ShiftFox because we were tired of bloated attendance tools that made simple things feel hard. ShiftFox exists to make attendance simple, transparent, and even enjoyable — so teams can focus on work, not bureaucracy. We’d love your feedback! What feature matters most to you — attendance tracking, shift flexibility, or team engagement (like our fun “Busy Bunnies” rewards)? Try it here 👉 https://shiftfox.io/ Thanks for checking us out.

Hey ShiftFox team,

Congrats on the launch! This looks like a really clean solution for managing shifts and attendance, which can be a huge headache.

I have a quick question. For the GPS and IP-based check-ins, how do you handle situations with remote employees who might have dynamic IP addresses or travel frequently? Is there a flexible way to manage their attendance tracking without causing issues?

Looks like a great tool. Well done!

@nemovideo_adam Hey Adam 👋

Thank you so much for the kind words and for checking out ShiftFox! Really appreciate your thoughtful question.

You’re absolutely right — not every remote setup is the same.

In ShiftFox, location or IP-based check-ins are fully configurable by the HR or admin. Team members who work from a fixed remote area can enable location/IP restrictions for extra accuracy.

But for employees who travel, these restrictions can be disabled — allowing them to check in freely from wherever they are, as long as their company’s policy allows it.

Our goal is to keep attendance tracking fair, flexible, and realistic — not restrictive.

Thanks again for raising that — we’re always open to feedback on how to make it even more adaptable! 🦊
