Sharing private repos with recruiters has always been a hassle for me. Making repos public exposes my IP, adding collaborators is tedious, and sending ZIPs looks ridiculous. I built ShareMyGit to solve this. It generates a secure, read-only share link to your private repo — no mirroring, no repo duplication, no account creation for viewers. How it works: 1. Sign in with your Gitea/Forgejo account at sharemygit.com 2. Select a private repo 3. Generate a share link For self-hosted instances, you just need to set up an OAuth app in your Gitea/Forgejo settings first (takes ~1 min). What recruiters can do: Browse files, read code, view project structure, download as zip, and that's it. You can also generate a portfolio link for your CV so recruiters can browse all your shared projects at once. Revoke access anytime by removing the OAuth app or just unsharing the repos. No GitHub needed. No sacrificing your self-hosted setup. No sacrificing your IP.
