Hey Product Hunt 👋 Vaedros here, solo founder of Shadcn UI Blocks. I build this on the side, and it started as the place I kept the shadcn blocks I was tired of rebuilding. We first launched here in March 2025 with 250 of them. Today it is 3,900, and 2.0 is the version where it stops being a library and becomes a workspace. The big things in this drop: Community blocks, collected in one place. There are dozens of public shadcn registries out there and they are all great, but you have to know each one exists. I now capture and curate them inside the app: 5,300+ blocks from 76 registries, previewed and installed right beside ours. Search that covers all of it. Those community blocks are wired into the same full text search that powers the app and the MCP server, so from Cursor or Claude Code you describe the block you want and your agent finds it, ours or theirs. Every bit of this is free. A better Designer, with favorites and lists. Drag blocks into pages and see the whole site before you write code, save what you find into lists you can share with a team, and let your agent read a Designer file over MCP and install every section. A new workspace underneath. All of the above now lives in a proper app with teams, shared files and shared lists, which I hope is a stronger foundation for the features already here and the ones I have on the list. The other change is pricing, and I want to be upfront about it. We are moving away from one time purchases to a subscription, Pro from $15 a month, billed quarterly or yearly. I do not think you should have to pay for everything up front. Stay subscribed while you are actively building, in the Designer or through your agent, and when you take a break, pause it and come back when the next project starts. If you bought a one time plan before, nothing changes for you: it is treated as Pro for as long as your account exists, with the lifetime updates you were promised. Happy building!
