Hey Product Hunt! ๐
I built SettleTheWeb because the internet has been arguing about the same things forever.
Cats or dogs? iPhone or Android? Marvel or DC? Coffee or tea?
Usually these debates end up scattered across Reddit threads, comment sections, polls, and group chats. I wanted to build one place where you simply have to pick a side โ and then see where the rest of the internet stands.
That started as a very simple voting site. But while building it, I realized the interesting part isn't just the vote.
So SettleTheWeb now has:
โ๏ธ Eternal Battles โ pick a side in classic internet debates and see the global result.
๐งฌ SideProfile โ your choices gradually build a profile of what kind of internet human you are.
๐ค Friend Challenge โ answer 7 battles, send the challenge to a friend, and discover how much you actually agree. Your answers stay hidden until they choose.
โก Power Arena โ live rounds where registered users can spend Power to fight for their side. The normal vote shows what people prefer; Power shows which side is willing to fight harder.
And this is still very early.
The thing I'm most curious about is simple:
Do you make one vote and leave โ or does picking a side make you want to pick another?
I'd genuinely love to hear what feels fun, confusing, unnecessary, or surprisingly addictive.
And of course:
Cats or dogs? ๐ผ๐ถ
Thanks for checking out SettleTheWeb!
