Being able to import my own MIDI patterns and have Sequentia generate variations off them would take this from a fun sketchpad to a real performance tool for me.
Plugged my Hydrasynth in over USB and Sequentia was driving it within a minute, no laptop, no fuss. The fact that it just stays in one key and tempo while you jam takes all the usual sequencing headaches off the table.
Love the no-laptop setup, sending MIDI straight to my Model Cycles over Wi-Fi feels like magic. One thing that would really help live performance: a tap-tempo lock or a way to nudge the BPM by a few clicks from the main screen so I can tighten things up without diving into a menu mid-set.
Finally tried a generative MIDI sequencer that actually feels playable on a phone, and the one-key one-tempo constraint turned into a feature instead of a limitation. Sending patterns straight to my Model:Cycles over Wi-Fi without a laptop in the loop is genuinely liberating.
