Wanted to share how the scoring model works. Since it's one of my personal favourite features, all scoring is based on a multi layered weight model based on actual financial data and important metrics. Calculated into an actual score purely based on math, no AI involved.
All the data is retrieved as followed:
Financial data is retrieved in nightly batch after market close (for the S&P 500, any stocks outside will get data fetched and calculated on trigger basis when user opens a stock)
News sentiment is retrieved as news comes in from multiple sources as it's published.
Insider trades, both congressional and exec level. comes in when publicly available (fetched every few minutes)
Sharing some more in detail screenshots of how the Stock Scoring looks and what metrics are used for calculation.
With this information a nightly batch runs calculations in short on:
News / Valuations / Quality of the business / Momentum / Expectations / Insiders
All of these get their weight distributed based on how much data is available. For example low analyst coverage will never give a 'Strong Buy' rating even though scoring might be high. And a low news coverage will get its weight down to 1% etc.
Some screenshots below to show how the app works. You see the scoring, can expand each section of the score to see the details of what data is used to come to that score. Also the weight is shown per section to see how heavy it counted that section based on the available data.

A real-time alert system that notifies you when a stock on your watchlist crosses a specific Sentex Score threshold would be huge, saves you from constantly refreshing the dashboard.

A daily digest email at market close summarizing the biggest sentiment shifts across your watchlist would be a nice add. Right now it feels like you have to open the app to catch what changed, and a quick recap would help people like me who only check in once a day.
@recepztrinzblt Great idea! Would you prefer a daily digest at market close or right before market open/premarket? Also if anyone here would like to test and give some feedback I'd happily give away some free pro subscriptions.
