Hey Product Hunt community! 👋 I’m Seongman, the creator of Sentence Echo. When learning languages through YouTube, I always found it frustrating to manually pause, rewind, and look up translations sentence by sentence. I wanted a seamless way to practice listening and shadowing without constantly interacting with the screen. That’s why I built Sentence Echo. It plays YouTube videos sentence by sentence, immediately echoing each line with a translated audio voice so you can absorb both the original audio and its meaning naturally. Current Stage & Roadmap: - Where it stands today: To manage initial server and infrastructure costs, anyone can currently listen to our curated library of pre-processed videos (English → Korean, single female voice). - What’s already built & coming next: The full engine is already developed! Once we secure funding or scale our user base, we plan to open up the core features: letting users paste any YouTube link, translate across multiple language pairs, and choose customized voice models.
