SensorFit auto-counts push-ups, squats, and sit-ups on Android using your phone's proximity sensor and accelerometer - no watch, no tapping mid-set. Workout log, goals, and stats included. Free on Google Play.

the proximity sensor approach is clever for hands-free rep counting, honestly really nice idea. one thing that would help though is some kind of audio cue or countdown between reps since you kind of lose rhythm on squats without visual feedback
@dnebeendiyng3 I agree that is a good idea and probably one I will implement in a future update so check back.
Love the no-watch approach for quick sets at home. One thing that would help me stick with it: add a customizable rep target per exercise that shows on a countdown during the set so I can pace myself instead of guessing how close I am to finishing.
@hilalj1hg Thanks for the feedback. I like that idea. A countdown for each set of reps would be a good addition.
honestly the proximity sensor thing is kinda clever, but it would be super helpful if it could also track form quality somehow, like flagging when reps are too shallow or uneven. right now it just counts but doesnt really tell you if youre doing them right. would make a big difference for people training solo.
@fahrettin121226 thanks for the suggestion. Maybe something like that would be possible using the phones camera. It is a good idea though.
honestly this sounds really handy for quick sets. one thing though, could you add voice cues that tell you when you've hit a rep? it would make it way easier to stay in rhythm without staring at the screen, especially when you're in the middle of a push-up set
@araszengin54995 That is a good suggestion. I will certainly consider that. Counting out the number?
Genius idea using the proximity sensor for push-ups, I was skeptical but the count was accurate through a full set. Glad it finally feels like a hands-free tracker that actually works on Android.
@cihan8qim Thanks. It is really accurate and appreciate the feedback.
