Hey Product Hunt — I built SecretScan after noticing that my camera roll had quietly become an archive of things I never meant to keep: login screenshots, recovery codes, API keys, and photos of documents. The awkward part was that there was no realistic way to audit thousands of photos by hand, and uploading them to a security service would defeat the point. So SecretScan does the OCR and detection locally with Apple Vision. The app doesn’t upload Photos, OCR text, or finding details. The useful part isn’t just finding something—it’s finishing the cleanup. You can see why an item was flagged, redact a copy on device, or delete the original through Apple’s normal Photos confirmation. The screenshot scan is free, because that’s the easiest place to start. I’d genuinely like to know what kinds of sensitive screenshots people forget most often, and where the detector misses or gets too cautious.
