I've spent the past 6 months building software to please investors and failing. One day (three weeks ago), my housemate said they wanted to watch a movie with their LDR couple, but with webcam and voice in sync. I said that would be simple. I posted on Reddit and the rest is history, but decided to post here as well. I am a struggling founder. I wasn't given the same opportunities as a lot of people. I lost my job 7 months ago because I stood up for what's right and got punished for it. Since then, I have starved trying to get out of this situation. I was also attending uni and another college to try and finish up my last classes during this time, so it conflicted with me getting a job the first four months. Finally, I have a side job, but it's just to pay rent and I'll be homeless in two weeks anyways since my housemates got sued and are being evicted for not paying the rent. Say you go on a mandatory business trip, but you'll miss your anniversary. Sure you can text, call, or facetime, but it's just not the same as having something playing in high quality while you two enjoy a lovely meal while watching a movie and make it romantic.
