I built Secretsnap because developers are still emailing .env files or accidentally committing them to GitHub. Most secret managers are overkill for small teams i.e. heavy setup, complex UIs, expensive pricing. Secretsnap is unique because it starts as a dead-simple, one-command CLI that works offline for free, and upgrades to push/pull, team sharing, and audit logs only when you need them. It’s lightweight like git-crypt, but modern, frictionless, and project-scoped.
