Most Google AI blockers rely on brittle CSS or awkward workarounds that break filters, hide normal results, or stop working after a layout change. Search Without AI takes a more reliable approach: it uses Web results mode for standard searches, then falls back to targeted cleanup for AI Overviews, AI Mode entry points, and AI modules across Images, News, Videos, and Shopping. The goal is simple: cleaner search, intact filters, and fewer weird side effects.
I made Search Without AI for one simple reason: Google Search stopped feeling clean.
I kept running into AI layers when I just wanted normal results, and the existing fixes usually came with tradeoffs. Some felt clunky, some broke parts of search, and some just did not feel reliable enough.
So I built a version that tries to make search feel normal again.
With Search Without AI, the goal is simple:
- Cleaner Google Search
- Fewer AI interruptions
- No broken filters or weird side effects
It works across the main search experience and also helps clean up AI-related clutter in places like Images, News, Videos, and Shopping.
This took a lot more iteration than I expected, because the challenge was not just hiding something. It was doing it in a way that still feels smooth and natural.
If you try it, I would really love to hear:
- Does it make search feel better?
- Did anything feel off?
- What would make it even more useful for you?
Thanks for checking it out.
