There are plenty of apps that help couples communicate better, split chores, and be more “healthy.” Scoremate does the opposite. It’s a tongue-in-cheek, competitive chore-tracking app where couples literally keep score: forgotten chores, small wins, favors done, petty mistakes, and win/lose points. Each week, they get a clear scoreboard to crown the best spouse. Scoremate is currently in closed beta on Android. I’m looking for honest feedback: is it a fun experiment or a terrible idea?
Thanks for checking out Scoremate!
There are a lot of apps that allow couples to keep track of chores to share the workload, but I've always found them a bit too wholesome and too far remove from the actual frustration and anger two people sharing a home can experience sometimes.
That's what motivated me to create Scoremate, for couples to have an outlet for their toxic tendancies in a fun way.
The Android app is currently in closed beta, so you’ll need to join the testing group to install it.
I’m especially curious: What would make you uninstall immediately ? What addition to the app would make it more fun/ easier to use ? Would this improve your relationship… or destroy it?
