Hey PH! 👋 I'm Erim, a solo developer from Turkey, and ScanAtlas started with "How hard can building a scanner app be?" and obviously it was much harder than anticipated, and as I kept researching into pain points of users in this segment the app kept growing more and more. So I spent months building structured parsing for GS1 barcodes (the complex ones on pharmaceutical and logistics labels, no mobile app does this to my knowledge), PDF417 driver's licenses, airline boarding passes — and instead of a raw dump of characters, ScanAtlas surfaces real fields like expiry date, batch number, serial, and quantity. It then autofills your inventory with that data. The feature I'm most proud of is the AR barcode overlay — point your camera at a shelf of products and see live spatial labels appear in augmented reality (Scandit charges 30K$ per year for this feature to coporations). It's something I hadn't seen in any consumer app in this space. Beyond the scanning tech, it's also a full inventory + team workspace tool: pick lists, check-in/check-out logs, Google Sheets & Airtable sync, Scan Flows (automated pipelines triggered by a scan), label printing, and NFC reading/writing. I also think I have the best/richest QR code customization for any mobile app out right now, all created offline, stored on device so even if your Pro subscription runs out you'll get to keep it (another pain point from my market research) It's free to download.
