ScamCheck is a free browser tool that scores suspicious SMS, email, and DMs from 0–99 using pattern matching (urgency, lookalike domains, gift-card demands, bank/USPS impersonation, and more). No account. No install.
@tony_curtis I just gave ScamCheck an upvote. The fact that it came from a real family experience makes the problem feel very real, and I like that everything runs locally for privacy. Have you tested it with scam messages from different countries to see how well it catches regional tactics?
The explanation behind the score may be even more valuable than the score itself. Does it show exactly which signals look suspicious?
Honestly super useful, I pasted in one of those weird USPS texts and it flagged the urgency language and sketchy link right away. No account needed is kind of a lifesaver when you're already suspicious about clicking anything.
