ScaleMates is a social weight and fitness tracking app designed to share your progress with friends, celebrate wins, and keep each other accountable. The first 100 users will get Early Adopter status, granting lifetime access for free.

ScaleMates started with a group chat. A few friends were talking about wanting to get fitter and lose a little weight, and we couldn't find any good way to actually share our progress with each other. Every app out there was either completely private or broadcast to the whole world.
We just wanted something simple: see how our mates were getting on, cheer each other on, and stay accountable to people we actually knew. So we built it.
ScaleMates has been used by our group of friends since the start of the year, gradually building more features as and when we realised we wanted to add them.
We look forward to more mates joining us now that the app is officially live on both iOS and Android stores. Let us know what you think of the app and any new features that you'd like to see which would help you on your social weight and fitness journey!
The first 100 users will get free lifetime access to ScaleMates.
For everyone else, personal use is free. Social "My Mates" use is free for a trial month, and then $0.99 a month after that.
Features:
Weight tracking from Bluetooth scales via Apple Health or Android Health Connect, or by manual entry
Steps tracking from phone/watch via Apple Health or Android Health Connect
Monthly goals
Monthly trophies
Track any data over time — define your own custom metrics for tracking via charts and streaks
Not everyone wants to share their actual weight — and that's completely fine. ScaleMates lets you choose: share your real numbers with your group, or just share how far you've progressed towards your personal goals. Your goal targets stay private; your mates just see that you're moving in the right direction.
Either way, you still get all the accountability and encouragement without having to reveal anything you're not comfortable with.
