Choose a ready-made difficult conversation or create and share your own fictional scenario. Practice it out loud with an AI character that responds to what you say, pushes back, and can move toward a practical next step. After the call, review four observable conversation skills. Free sessions are available while the community-funded pool has capacity.

I built Say It Ahead because understanding communication advice is different from saying the words when another person is waiting for an answer.
The site lets you choose a difficult situation and practice it out loud with an AI character. The current library covers managers, HR, interviews, negotiation, customer service, and school conversations. You can also create a fictional custom scenario, choose how the other person sounds, and share a private-by-link copy with someone else.
I focused on three parts that were harder than the first demo suggested: keeping voice latency low enough for a real exchange, giving the character a clear reason to move from pushback to a useful next step, and reconciling the actual call cost to a community-funded pool.
This is a rehearsal tool, not therapy or an assessment. I would especially value feedback on whether the character changes tone at the right time and whether the post-call review is clear. Please tell me what felt useful and what still felt artificial.
