Casska is a clean and easy-to-use household finance app for tracking expenses, bills and monthly budgets in one place. Create shared households, invite family members or your partner, manage recurring payments, view clear statistics and scan receipts or invoices with automatic recognition. It is designed for everyday use, with a simple interface, multiple currencies, reminders and optional one-time Full access instead of a subscription.
Sajátkassza is now Casska outside Hungary, and 1.2 is out
Two things at once.
The name. The app is now called Casska in the international App Store and Play Store listings. Nothing else changed: same app, same team, same data, same one time purchase. If you already have it installed, the name just updates with the next release.
The original name is "Sajátkassza", which means roughly "your own till" in Hungarian. It stays exactly that in the Hungarian stores. For everyone else it was mostly a pronunciation puzzle, so Casska keeps the sound without the consonant pileup. :)
And 1.2 shipped. The bigger pieces:
• Bills and expenses are one system now. They used to live separately, which never really made sense. You can see at a glance what's due this month. Recurring expenses can be created, edited and deleted flexibly, and planned expenses are editable after the fact.
• A full visual refresh. Redrawn illustrations, proper day and night moods, reworked menus, cleaner screens.
• German, and automatic language detection. The app starts in your phone's language.
• Redesigned statistics with a much clearer monthly overview.
• Encrypted local storage. In local mode your data is now stored encrypted on the device.
• Sign in with Google or Apple, profile picture carried over. Widgets follow the app's language too, and tapping one takes you straight to the right screen.
• Smaller app size, faster loading.
Availability: 1.2.0 is live on the Play Store right now. The iOS build is in review and should land in the next few days.
Thanks to everyone who tried it after the launch and sent feedback. A good chunk of this release came straight from those messages.
