SafeTools was built around a simple idea: privacy should be the default, not an extra feature. Most online utility platforms require users to upload sensitive files to external servers, often without clear transparency about storage, tracking, or data handling. I wanted to create an alternative where people could convert, compress, edit, encrypt, and manage files directly in their browser whenever possible. The focus from day one was speed, privacy, and simplicity. No unnecessary accounts, no aggressive tracking, and no server-side file storage for core tools. Building browser-side processing for large files and advanced utilities was challenging, but it allowed SafeTools to offer a more secure and transparent experience compared to traditional web tools. This is still just the beginning. I’m continuously improving the platform with more privacy-focused tools, better performance, and new features based on user feedback.
