Safe Little Faces helps parents and caregivers prepare family photos for sharing without sending them to a server. Pick the faces you want to protect, then use an opaque cover, mosaic, emoji, or soft blur. Face detection and editing happen on your iPhone. Exports are newly encoded without the source photo's location, capture date, camera, lens, or device metadata. There is no account, photo upload, advertising, tracking, or in-app analytics. Originals are never changed.
Hi Product Hunt. I built Safe Little Faces around a simple constraint: family photos should not need to leave your phone just to hide a child's face before sharing.
The app detects faces on-device, then leaves the choice to you. Tap the people you want to protect, choose a cover style, touch up anything detection missed, and export a new copy without source location or camera metadata. Photos never leave the iPhone, and there is no account, upload, advertising, or tracking.
