We started Runtric after realizing how many people learn to code by copying AI answers without actually understanding why the code works.
We wanted to make something that helps people think through programming, not just generate results.
What s the hardest part for you when learning to code staying motivated, understanding concepts, or finding the right structure?
Hello Product Hunt!
👋 We’ve finally built Runtric, an AI-powered coding education platform — made not from what we wanted to build, but from what learners truly need.
When we started, we noticed a real problem: more people than ever want to learn coding, yet most still struggle — even with AI chatbots and YouTube tutorials everywhere. Many learners depend too heavily on chatbot answers without actually understanding the logic behind them.
That’s the hallucination problem — and that’s exactly what Runtric is here to solve. We built Runtric because most people today “learn” to code by copying AI’s answers. But just like you can’t understand a calculator’s result without knowing math, coding without core concepts leads to shallow, fragile knowledge.
What Runtric Offers
Runtric is an immersive, AI-powered coding platform where you don’t just get answers — you think, practice, and understand.
We redesigned the learning experience from scratch with a focus on:
✅ Beginner-friendly curriculum — Structured, interactive lessons instead of endless video tutorials.
✅ Interactive coding sandbox — Run real Python code instantly in your browser, no setup required.
✅ AI tutor that guides, not gives — Our tutor keeps you in the learning flow, asking questions that help you think, not just copy.
✅ One unified learning stream — From lesson → code → quiz → feedback — all in one seamless experience.
And yes, it’s all free for now!
Who It’s For
Students and beginners starting with Python or programming
Self-learners tired of passive tutorials and copy-paste answers
Anyone who wants to understand, not just code
🌍 What’s Next
We’re in our MVP phase and we’d love for early learners, teachers, and AI enthusiasts to try Runtric and share what works (and what doesn’t).
We’re launching globally and plan to release:
Advanced paths and real-world projects
AI-driven progress feedback
Tools for educators and classrooms
💬 We Need Your Feedback
We’re still early — your feedback will help shape how people learn to code in the AI era.
Try Runtric, push its limits, and tell us what you think. ❤️ 👉 https://runtric.com
Again, we’ve built Runtric to address real challenges in programming education — not only the struggle to retain what you’ve learned after tutorials or courses, but also the problem of AI hallucinations that can lead to misleading or incorrect explanations.
