Roll Credits is a quiet companion for your gaming. You log a session, add a mood, and once a week we send a short note β one thing we noticed, nothing more. No scoreboards, no streaks to defend, no advice.
Hey,
A while back I caught myself doing something a bit weird. I'd play a couple hours of Anno 1800 on a Friday night, finally tear myself away around 1 AM, and the next morning I genuinely couldn't tell you whether I had a good time or justβ¦ filled the time. Same game, totally different weeks β and I had no idea which was which.
I tried a habit tracker. Felt like homework. The thing I actually wanted didn't seem to exist: not a tracker, not a wellness app, not a thing telling me to play less. Just something that quietly noticed the pattern and let me figure out what to do with it (or nothing β that was fine too). So I built it. It's called Roll Credits.
How it works:
After you play, you log it. Pick the game (there's a big library to search), how long, and how it felt β π / π / π«. Takes about ten seconds.
Once a week you get a short email. Not a dashboard, not a score. A sentence or two about something it noticed. Mine last week said something like: "Three Anno sessions β Saturday felt good, Tuesday meh, Friday rough. Friday started at 22:40 and ended at 2 AM. That's the fourth Friday in a row." Which was, uh, accurate.
What it isn't, just to be upfront:
Not a habit tracker. No streaks, no goals.
Not a wellness app. There's no "mindful gaming" anywhere in the copy and there never will be.
It will never tell you to play less. That's not the deal.
Closer to a friend who happens to remember things you forget.
