Every cocktail app I tried was a search engine: a thousand drinks, and the slow discovery, one ingredient at a time, that I could make almost none of them. Rickey flips that. You tell it what you own, and it reads back what you can actually pour tonight. Then the drinks you're one bottle away from, and which bottle would unlock the most — so a trip to the shop buys drinks, not a bottle you'll use once. A few things I cared about: — It works with no account and no signal. The whole catalogue ships in the app; nothing about the core loop ever touches a server. — It's free, permanently. No ads, no subscription, nothing to unlock. That's a decision, not a launch promo. — The pouring screen is built to be read at arm's length with wet hands: the measure is the biggest thing on the screen, and a gauge fills as you build the drink. — The Spanish (es-MX) is written, not translated. It has the bar's own vocabulary. 529 recipes, seven of them written by hand with real timings. iPhone and iPad, on the App Store now. Android is coming later.
