Hey everyone! If you're an early-stage startup, you may not have a lot of data about your ideal buyers or even know who they are (yet). But that doesn't mean that you have to rely on guesstimates when developing your messaging or web copy. Looking at reviews, including reviews of your more established competitors, can help you find new messaging ideas, ways to differentiate your product, and make your copy more memorable.
After reading pages and pages of G2 reviews covering different user research products, I've found 14 use cases, going beyond headlines and feature descriptions. (Use cases? Check. Big ideas? There. Niche audience(s)? Also right there).
Of course, you don't want to rely on review alone when you start updating your copy, so I'm including next steps for each use case.
Please give it a read and let me know if this e-book helped you find new ideas on how to improve your web copy or your product messaging.
