An interactive web tool to instantly turn images, MP4 videos, and GIFs into retro pixel art. Supports classic console palettes (Game Boy, NES, CGA, C64) with custom palette extraction, Floyd-Steinberg dithering, CRT scanline effects, and PNG/WebM export - HvKOkla/RetroDemake-Studio

The palette extraction combined with Floyd-Steinberg dithering is such a thoughtful touch, letting you nail that authentic Game Boy or CGA look without fiddling forever. Genuinely impressed by how snappy the whole thing feels in the browser.
Being able to save and share custom palettes would be huge, especially ones extracted from specific games or artwork. Maybe a small built-in gallery where people can browse and grab community-made palettes, or even just export/import a .pal file.
Would love a side-by-side preview that lets me compare the original and pixelated result with a slider handle, plus quick export presets for specific sprite sizes like 16x16 or 32x32 so I can drop the output straight into a game engine.
Tried a photo of my cat through the Game Boy palette and the dithering looked surprisingly faithful, way better than the filters I usually mess with. The custom palette extraction is a nice touch too.
