The decompression tab for developers. When the fifth rebase of the day breaks you, merge crystal towers instead — link them into resonance networks, hold the Nexus, and go back to work actually feeling better. Free, in-browser, no install, no ads, no account.

Finally something to do between failed builds that isn't doomscrolling. The crystal linking is weirdly satisfying and the no-install thing made me actually try it during a debugging break.
@rdvanf8c1 "something between failed builds that isn't doomscrolling" — okay, that might be the best one-line pitch anyone's written for this, including me. Stealing it with credit. 🙏
The no-install thing was non-negotiable from day one for exactly your reason: a break game has to cost zero setup or it doesn't get opened during a debugging break.
If you end up back tomorrow, try the Daily Rift — one seed, one attempt, everyone worldwide on the same board. Would love to see you on it.
A little feature request that would honestly keep me coming back: a quick "what does this crystal do" hover tooltip on the pieces in the picker, since the merge/rebase metaphor is fun but I kept forgetting which tile impacts what. Maybe even a short in-game glossary the first time you encounter a new tile type so the learning curve feels smoother.
@glcanqznu thank you for your feedback.
Good news: some of this is already in there — each crystal in the shop shows its role at a glance (Fire = AoE · Burn, Ice = Control · Slow, Lightning = Chain, Earth = Heavy · Splash, Arcane = Support · Amp), and when you go to link two towers, the game previews exactly which synergy field you'd create and what it does (Steam Zone slows + burns, Conductive Ground stuns groups, and so on) before you spend a single gold.
But the "short glossary the first time you meet something new" idea is genuinely good and I'm stealing it — right now the synergy names only fully click once you've built a few, and a one-time "new resonance discovered" card would smooth that curve a lot. Added to the list.
The no-account, in-browser thing is genuinely thoughtful, especially after a rough merge. Love that the crystal towers' resonance glow actually feels like a small reset instead of just more screen noise.
@arifevrec, thank you — that's exactly the design goal, so this comment made my morning. ☕
The whole game is tuned around "reset, not more noise": the glow palette stays soft, the soundtrack is ambient on purpose, and there's no fail-state pressure until you choose to call the next wave. The 10-minute tab between two rough merges is the intended dose.
If you hit the Daily Rift (one shared seed, one attempt a day), curious how it lands for you — that's the mode I'm most unsure about pacing-wise.
spent like ten minutes on this after a brutal rebase session and honestly it weirdly worked, the little chimes when the towers link up are super calming
@abdulkadir44638 this is the exact use case I built it for, so thank you — "it weirdly worked" is going on my tombstone. 😄
Fun detail on the chimes: link sounds are tuned to layer musically as your network grows, so a bigger board literally sounds calmer, not busier. Took way too many evenings to get right.
Did you get far enough to buy a second link? Curious if the link pricing felt fair or steep on a first run.
