Ever wondered what your GitHub feed would look like as a card game? RepoCards turns real repositories into collectible cards with live stats — stars, forks, language, description. Open packs, discover projects you didn't know existed, and build your collection.
Hello ! I'm David :)
I created RepoCards as a weekend experiment: what if GitHub repos were trading cards? One thing led to another and now it's a full gacha game — rarity tiers (N to UR), pack animations, collections, achievements, daily missions.
It's free, just connect with GitHub or play as a guest. Would love to hear what you think — and yes, pulling a UR is as satisfying as it sounds.
Thank you :)
the "live stats on the card" detail is what makes this more than just a novelty. a card where the star count updates as the project grows is essentially a dynamic asset with changing value, which is a weird and interesting property for a collectible to have
the open packs mechanic for discovering projects you didn't know existed is actually a clever discovery mechanism too. github has a genuinely bad discoverability problem and nobody talks about it :P
