Remend is a privacy-first fitness app for people who just want to train. Build strength routines or endurance plans, track your workouts, and understand your progress without ads, social comparison, heavy dashboards or unnecessary noise. Your fitness data stays on-device by default. Remend combines flexible training tools, meaningful progression insights and a quiet local companion called Still ā all built around one idea: less is more.
Hey Product Hunt š
I'm Leo, and Remend started from a pretty simple frustration: fitness apps kept becoming more complicated.
More dashboards, more scores, more gamification, more social features, and now more AI. There are some great products out there, but we kept asking ourselves ā how much of this actually helps someone train?
That question became the foundation for Remend.
We decided on a simple rule: **if something meaningfully helps you train or understand your progress, it belongs. If it only adds noise, it doesn't.**
That philosophy shaped almost everything we've built.
Remend lets you build your own strength routines and plans, create exercises, use advanced set methods, or build endurance workouts around blocks and targets like heart-rate zones and cadence. If you don't want to build anything yourself, there are curated routines and plans to get you started.
Then there's Insights. We didn't want another screen full of charts just because we could make one. Apple Health and Health Connect already handle broad health data well. Instead, Remend focuses on helping you understand how your actual training is progressing, with deeper detail available when you want it.
We also built **Still**, our quiet companion. Still isn't an LLM or chatbot. It's a deterministic engine that runs locally and uses the context available on your device to surface observations, suggestions and reminders when they're useful. You don't have to talk to it, prompt it, or send your fitness history to an AI service.
Privacy became another core part of the product. Your fitness and health data is processed and stored on-device by default, and we deliberately chose not to build our business around tracking how people use the app.
We're also trying hard not to treat Android as the second-class version. Remend was designed for both iOS and Android from the beginning, including the little details that make each platform feel at home.
We're still early, and there are things we haven't built yet. There will probably be bugs too. We'd rather be open about that and build the right things with feedback from people actually training.
Our loop is ultimately very simple:
**Make your plan ā Train and record ā See your progress ā Repeat.**
That's Remend.
We're looking for early users and beta testers right now, so I'd genuinely love to hear what you like, what you don't, what seems unnecessary, and what you think we're missing.
Thanks for checking us out ā¤ļø
