Self-hosting available for full data control. 50% of profits fund Make-Impact.org, a charity-focused sister project.

1st things 1st
Hi everyone! I'm the maker.
I live in Berlin, and I used to go to a lot of meetups here. You talk to someone once, you have a great chat, and then you don't see them again for months. Maybe never. If you don't write anything down, you forget their name and what you talked about, and a connection that could have turned into something real just fades away.
That's why I built Remember Your People. After a meetup, I write a quick note: their name, where I met them, what we talked about, sometimes a small detail like what they're working on or into. Next time I see them, I check the note first, so I can pick up where we left off instead of asking "sorry, what's your name again?" It makes the second conversation feel like a continuation, not a restart, and that small thing has helped me turn a few one-time chats into friendships.
I also use it for things closer to home. My kids' shoe sizes, clothes sizes, little facts I always forget because of focussing on other things.
The notes are end-to-end encrypted, so I never worry about jotting down personal details like that.
I'd love to hear what you think, and what note templates would be most useful for you.

@theprioritizer Foxy chose your launch out of today's batch 🦊 — keeping the small details about the people who matter (the kid's name, what you promised, when you last talked) one tap away is a genuinely human take on the personal-CRM idea. More than an upvote: here's a launch video built from your own product — no watermark, yours to post anywhere:

Would love a quick-add widget for mobile so I can log something right after a conversation without opening the full app, maybe even just a single field for the note with auto timestamps.

@hasanbump Thanks for the ideas! I will think about that!
The encrypted angle is really appealing, especially with self-hosting as an option. One thing that would make this a daily habit for me: a quick "add a note" button in the browser toolbar so I can capture something about someone right after a call without opening the full app.
encrypted personal notes about people feels genuinely useful, especially being able to self-host. tried the free tier and pulling up a quick note on a friend's dietary preference mid-conversation was smoother than i expected.
Finally found a use for self-hosting that actually makes sense. The end-to-end encryption on personal notes about people in my life was a nice surprise.
