For almost my entire life, my doctor has been my mom.
She’s treated me, our family, and thousands of patients over the last 40 years — not by rushing people through 5-minute appointments, but by sitting with them, listening, and trying to understand the whole human in front of her.
She became a medical doctor in Germany in her 30s and was on track to become a surgeon. Then she spent time riding in ambulances during her internship — saw too much, too fast — and realized she didn’t want a career that treated bodies like broken machines.
She wanted time.
She wanted context.
She wanted to heal people, not just manage symptoms.
That search led her to homeopathy, acupuncture, and natural remedies — approaches that look at the person as a system, not a checklist. For decades, she built a private practice around that philosophy. And now, as she’s nearing retirement, something feels wrong about letting that knowledge quietly disappear.
So we built remedica.app.
Not to replace doctors.
Not to promise miracles.
But to preserve and scale a way of thinking about health that is increasingly rare.
Remedica uses modern AI — trained on my mom’s essays, case patterns, and reasoning — to help people reason through symptoms the way she would: patiently, holistically, and with respect for the body’s ability to heal.
It can’t give you acupuncture.
But it can tell you when acupuncture might help.
It can’t replace medical care.
But it can help you explore gentle, low-risk remedies and understand yourself better.
And here’s the beautiful part:
homeopathic and household remedies either help — or they do no harm.
No one has ever overdosed on ginger tea or Aconitum C30
This is our attempt to make a deeply human kind of medicine available 24/7, for almost free — using AI not to dehumanize care, but to bring some humanity back into it.
If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to try it — or share it with someone who’s been looking for a different way.

I tested this for the meds I usually take for my regular symptoms and it gave me those exact solutions. Seems great. What are the plans for Phase 2 ?

Really interesting app, I was able to identify a natural supplement for recent symptoms and it worked great! Makes me more inclined to check for natural solutions to everyday ailments. Will be following development.

It was real easy to get started, the questions were thorough and got me started on a couple suggested remedies for current symptoms after finding over the counter drugs were hard on the immune system.
