We're genuinely glad to be meeting film and vintage camera enthusiasts from around the world. Release Stock is growing into an international window onto Korea's vintage camera scene — a place to explore what's out there and see what it actually goes for.
Every listing here comes from a real vintage camera shop in Korea. There are no fake or bait listings. And if something catches your eye, we hope you'll remember Release Stock when you visit Korea.
Buying a vintage camera in Korea means hiking to shops in Namdaemun or Chungmuro to see what's on the shelf. Some shops have sites, but each has its own janky UI, and you're refreshing tabs daily to catch new stock.

Why it's useful
Coverage of most of the Korean vintage scene, including private marketplace listings. Every search runs a fresh crawl, so data is never stale. Alerts snooze overnight and send a morning digest instead of waking you up.
The AI part
Listing titles are chaos. One shop writes "★정품★ 라이카 M6 블랙 민트급 풀세트", another writes "Leica M6 0.72 Silver body only" — same camera, keyword search misses half.
Base score is query-to-title match (0–100). AI pre-tags brand and category, adding bonus points when they match. Sold-out or unpriced listings get pushed down. Search "라이카" and you'll still see listings that only wrote "Leica." Cables and straps stop crowding camera searches.
What you feel is simple: the thing you're looking for is at the top.
Would love to see price history charts for each listing so I can tell if a shop actually lowered the price or just lists it high hoping someone bites.
honestly this is a great idea for vintage camera hunting, but it would help a lot if you could filter by condition or at least show the seller rating somewhere on each listing. right now it's hard to tell if a shop is trustworthy before clicking through, and a quick trust signal would make buying way less risky.
Finally a way to browse Korean vintage camera listings without opening twelve tabs at once. The photos load fast and the prices convert automatically which saved me a lot of mental math.
would love a price alert for specific camera models, so I get notified when something like an Olympus OM-1 drops below my budget instead of having to keep checking back manually.
