I'm Antoine, the solo dev behind Redrip.
I've been buying and selling on Vinted for 4 years. The problem: items
disappear from search after 2-3 days, so to stay visible you have to
relist them constantly. For 50 items, that's 2-3 hours per day of
mindless copy-paste.
So I spent 6 months of weekends building Redrip:
— Auto-relisting with safe-calibrated cadences (jitter, pauses, daily
cap to avoid Vinted's shadowban patterns)
— AI replies to buyers in 9 languages, via your own OpenAI key
— Targeted following, offers to favoriters, unified inbox
— 100% local storage. Your Vinted data never leaves your browser.
Tech: Chrome MV3, vanilla JS (12k LOC), reverse-engineered Vinted's
public APIs. Marketing site on Vercel. No backend, no telemetry, no
freemium trap.
What I'd love feedback on:
1. What's the ONE feature missing on Vinted that drives you nuts as a
seller?
2. For other indie devs: how do you balance free product / sustainable
business? I'm building a Pro tier but want to keep the core free
forever.
